As autumn comes around we are excited to update you on the progress of our renovation project!
We started this year with our fantastic annual quiz – 2025 was our best attended one yet. Thanks to all who came, we raised a brilliant £707.
Our next fundraiser was a church Gift Day. We are so grateful to God for the
sacrifices our little congregation are prepared to make because they are invested in the future of this church and this village. Including donations and pledges, our gift day raised £6685!
Overall in total, with grants, fundraisers and ad hoc donations we have raised an
extraordinary £55,980 so far this year.
All this means that we are able to have our builders back this November to
complete some more of the build!

Our fantastic Bingo Night (rescheduled from earlier in the year) will now be Saturday Oct 11th. We’re excited to say that we are working with the wonderful people at White Gold Fish and Chips, so you will be able to get a 20% discount for fish n chips when you prebook your Bingo ticket and bring it in to enjoy on the night!

Festive Fundraising – Date for your diary
Book yourself in for a cosy, magical performance this December, with Anthony Robert’s festive retelling of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”! We will have
the church decked out for Christmas, teas and mince pies at the ready. 4pm, Friday 5th Dec at Bures Baptist Church, tickets available nearer the time.
