14th June and onwards

More Study

during the Coronavirus pandemic

If the church is still in a state of closure after this date, unless you her otherwise from me, I recommend that we begin another series.

We will read through the book of Mark together, one section per week. In the NIV the first few sections are:

  • 14th June: Mark 1:1-8
  • 21st June: Mark 1:9-12
  • 28th June: Mark 1:14-19
  • 5th July: Mark 1:21-28
  • 12th July: Mark 1:29-34
  • 19th July: Mark 1:35-39
  • 26th July: Mark 1:40-45
  • 2nd August: Mark 2:1-12
  • 9th August: Mark 2:13-17
  • 16th August: Mark 2:18-22
  • 23rd August: Mark 2:23-3:6
  • 30th August: Mark 3:7-12

Hopefully we won’t need anything like this amount!

The questions for each week would then be:

  • Which parts of the passage do you understand and which parts do you not?
  • What stands out to you most in the passage?
  • What can we learn about Jesus from this passage?
  • How does this passage relate to our life today?

Then do please continue pray and use the songs in the way you have been.
